Pike County Times has learned that the suspects did know the homeowner so this was not a random incident. The suspects have not gone before Magistrate for a bond hearing as of noon today.

Update 9 p.m.: Because of the serious nature of the charges, neither suspect was given a bond at a hearing held in Magistrate earlier today. They will await a bond hearing at a later date to be held before a Superior Court Judge.
