ZEBULON - A wreck occurred at Carver Road and Hwy. 19 around 3:03 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019. A Lincoln Towncar driven by 91 year old GW Roussaw of Griffin attempted to turn north on Hwy 19 from Carver Road and pulled into the path of a Nissan Sentra driven by 32 year old Tamarious Mahone of Riverdale.
Roussaw stated that he did not see the vehicle coming south. A passenger in the Nissan Sentra was transported to Spalding Regional by ambulance.
Volunteer fire fighters directed traffic and cleaned off the highway after the incident while a deputy from the Pike County Sheriff's Office wrote the incident report.
