ZEBULON - Last Thursday around 6:26 p.m., a wreck occurred on Concord Street (Hwy 18) headed toward Concord.

A Ford Focus was stopped on the road with the left turn signal on (headed eastbound) when a Ford F150 rear ended the Focus. The F150 then traveled into a ditch and landed on its side down the embankment.

The 16 year old driver and the younger passenger in the Focus were not seriously injured. Both were taken by ambulance to a nearly hospital after the accident. The driver of the F150, 19 year old Joe Nutt from Newnan, was charged with following too close.
