ZEBULON - A single vehicle accident was reported at 2:26 a.m. that sent three to the hospital for treatment.

The vehicle was traveling north on old Meansville road near Whitfield Walk when it left the road way, crossed a driveway, and struck a tree.

Two people were life flighted from the scene. The driver was transported for treatment by ambulance.

The wreck remains under investigation awaiting a toxicology report on the driver.

The driver was Benson Jones, age 22 years of age. Passengers were Ramero Fernandez, 20 years of age, and a juvenile. All are from Pike County.
