MEANSVILLE - A wreck involving a truck and a car occured on Sunday February 24, 2019 around 1:20 p.m. It was on Highway 19 South near Campbell Road below the Rock Store.
18 year old Matthew Black of Zebulon was driving a 2008 Kia Rio and 42 year old Jason Curphey of Zebulon was driving a 2015 Dodge pickup truck. Both vehicles were going south on Hwy 19 toward Thomaston with Matthew Black in the slow lane and Jason Curphey in the fast lane when the driver of the car attempted to make a u-turn in the highway in front of the truck.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
Charges are pending on the accident at this time.
