WILLIAMSON - In the early morning hours of December 2, 2017, a wreck occurred on IB Howard Road in Williamson. This one vehicle wreck occurred when a 2003 Chevy Silverado with a work bed on the back driven by 18 year old Adam Kinney left the southbound side of the road, overturned and struck a tree.
Someone saw a truck wrecked in the trees and called 911 around 2:45 a.m. The driver was trapped in the vehicle, and it took an extended period of time to extricate him from the vehicle. Mr. Kinney was transported to Grady Hospital with multiple serious injuries.
The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
