CONCORD - Titan Armaments, located in Concord, will be teaching a class on the Basics of Pistol Shooting. This one day NRA Instructor Led class will held on March 3rd for the first class, and then other individual classes will be held on a regular basis for as long as students want to sign up for classes.
"These classes are for beginners or those that haven’t handled a weapon in a while," said Titan Armaments owner Shawn Pursley. "It is also for people who have been shooting for a long time, but want some professional training."
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting instructor led class is intended for all individuals regardless of shooting experience. It takes place in a classroom and range environment. It is designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely and responsibly.
This course will be 8 hours + or -, and completed in a single day. Topics include: gun safety, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, and range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and complete shooting qualifications while at the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.
This class is limited to 5 people, the small class size allows the instructor to give each individual the attention they deserve. If the class has not reached the minimum number of students at the registration deadline, it may be moved to a later date. You will be notified of this immediately if it occurs.
Upon completing this registration, you will receive an email from us and from PayPal with an invoice to pay the non-refundable $70.00 deposit (or the complete fee of $140) along with another email with complete details on the class. Deposits are due at the time of registration. The remaining amount is due by the registration close date. Deposits are nonrefundable as the seats are limited.
Handguns and .22lr ammo are provided, however you can bring your own firearm if you like (A .22 caliber pistol is recommended). ** Range fees are not included in the registration fee and will be paid by the student.
