CONCORD - Have you seen Thor? He is a 9 year old Presa Canario, and his family misses him very much.
Maybe you’ve petted Thor in the back of his Dad’s truck or petted Thor all dressed up and walking around with his Dad at events all over the county.
Pike County Times has taken several pictures of Thor and put him on Facebook. He didn't mind being famous as long as he got petted.
Thor has been missing for 34 days in the Concord area where his Dad, Phillip Kennedy, has been tracking him. Thor has been sighted from the Cedars to Roberts Quarters across from the Dollar General and down Bottoms Road behind it. The tracking dogs continue to hit on him in the area too.
“He’s a sweet dog. He loves everybody that he meets,” said Phillip. “But I don’t know that he would be the same way after being out for 34 days, he said. He may be skittish.”
“If you see him, try to watch where he goes so I’ll know a direction to go, and call me.”
“Don’t chase him, but if he’ll come to you, call me. And if you have an opportunity to get him in a confined area, please do and call me.”
Once Thor is found, Philip wants to have a cookout for the county so everyone can come and meet Thor, and the family can express their appreciation to the community for looking for him.
“We’d just love to have him home by Christmas,” he said. “It would be the best Christmas present we could get!”
