ZEBULON - Congratulations to the Pike County Senior Center Diabetes Self Management Program (DSMP) graduates! DSMP participants are instructed on techniques to deal with diabetes symptoms, exercises, healthy eating, appropriate use of medications, how to create actions plans with problem solving skills, and how to work in partnership with their physician.
The class met for six consecutive weeks and graduates had to attend at least four of six weeks to receive a certificate.
