GPD Arrests Suspects from Armed Robbery at Bowen's Pharmacy in Griffin

ZEBULON - On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, The Griffin Police Department received a call of an armed robbery at 1378 Experiment Street at Bowen’s Pharmacy. Upon the arrival of officers at this location, they were able to provide to Investigators a description of suspects and a description and tag number of the vehicle involved.

While enroute to the residence listed on the license registration, investigators encountered the suspect vehicle and initiated a vehicle pullover. The driver of the vehicle matched the description provided by witnesses. Marquez Kenon, age 19 of McDonough was taken in to custody without incident.

Surveillance video from Bowen’s Pharmacy provided investigators with additional leads directing them to a location at South Hampton Mobile Home Park where other suspects were taken in to custody in relation to this case.

Those arrested were as follows:
Marquez Kenon, age 19 of McDonough
Shamir Johnson, age 18 of Hampton
Devontae Slaton, age 18 of Jonesboro
Ethan McIntyre, age 20 of Theodore, Alabama
Tory Wooten, age 17 of Griffin and
Christopher Rogers, age 20 of McDonough.

All suspects have been charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Georgia Criminal Street Gang Act and Possession with intent to distribute a schedule 1 controlled substance.

The team of investigators worked tirelessly to bring this case to a conclusion. All investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division, Special Investigations Unit and the Criminal Apprehension and Gang Enforcement team worked seamlessly and in unison with each other on this case.
