ZEBULON - County Manager John Hanson advised that Planning and Zoning Director David Allen has tendered his resignation effective May 18, 2018.
“David has served Pike County well in his years of service in this role," said CM Hanson. "It has been a pleasure to work with David and he will be greatly missed. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
CM Hanson said that Director Allen will be with the county through May 18 as the county transitions to look for a new Director of Planning and Zoning. The position is listed in the Pike Journal Reporter today and is listed on the county website.
The county has recently completed a search for the Administrative Assistant in the Planning and Zoning Office and an offer has been extended for this position as well. An announcement from the county will be forthcoming when this process is complete.
