PCMS Auction to Benefit Relay for Life

The Pike County Middle School Relay for Life team will host a live auction, with auctioneer Richard Smith, to benefit the American Cancer Society on Friday, May 11th. This exciting event will be held in the gym and will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.

There will be something interesting for everyone to bid on including autographed memorabilia from Bobby Allison to Alan Jackson; signed CD’s from Vince Gill to Jaci Valasquez; autographed books from Dean Koontz to John Grisham. Other auction items include gift certificates for massages, haircuts, a bi-plane ride, rounds of golf, tennis and golf lessons, oil changes and much more. There are currently almost 200 items that will be available for bid with more arriving every day.

Those interested in donating to this benefit should contact Todd Child by email at ChildT@pike.k12.ga.us.

Other Relay for Life of Pike County events to remember are the Survivor’s Dinner on Thursday, May 10th at 6:00 pm at Christ Chapel Community Church and Relay for Life Event on Friday, May 18th beginning at 7:00 pm with the Survivor’s Walk and ending at 7:00 am with the Wrap Up Celebration.
