ZEBULON - The initial tip from Facebook told Pike County Times that Mr. B's was robbed last month. Mr. B's was not robbed that night, but there was an incident involving a customer with a handgun that resulted in warrants being issued.
On November 23, 2017 around 6:50 p.m. Aaron Watts came into Mr. B's Convenience Store in Zebulon, pulled out a handgun and swept the counter with it. The clerk said that this customer was laughing and joking and said, "Give me some money" before putting the gun away and going to get a beer.
Watts showed the gun to another customer in the store. The clerk then told him to put the gun away, and he complied. He then paid for his beer and left the store.
The Zebulon Police Department has issued warrants for Watts for reckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and has been looking for Watts since the incident.
