VIRGINIA - Daniel Renado "Redd" Dickson, a Pike County High School 1991 graduate, has been promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy.
He is the son of Daniel Dickson and Patricia Beckham. He is married to Coral Dickson and the father of Stevie, Darius, Renado Manuel, and Jacob Redd Dickson.
Master Chief Quartermaster Redd Dickson is assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). He is pictured with Captain Richard McCormack, the Ford's commanding officer, and Command Master Chief Laura Nunley during a master chief pinning ceremony in the shi's hangar bay.
Four sailers from the USS Gerald R. Ford were advanced to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer during the fiscal year of 2017.
