Pike County School Prayer Walk Was Held on August 8

ZEBULON - On Saturday, August 8, 2020, about 50 people gathered in front of the 9th Grade Academy in Zebulon for the annual school prayer walk for Pike County. Proper social distancing was observed, and many wore masks as well.

This is an important event for our students, teachers, staff, bus drivers, and school administration each year. Participants walked and drove around the school campus and administration buildings praying for the well being of all that enter the campus for the coming school year.

The Annual Pike County School Prayer Walk is sponsored by Prayer Power of Georgia. www.prayerpower4u.net/

Joining Prayer Power of Georgia's Ben Maxedon were pastors and youth pastors from around the county including Pastor Arianna Eberle of Concord and Zebulon Methodist Church, Pastor Vaughn Drawdy of the Church of Joy, Pastor Fred Thompson of Mt. Gilead, Pastor Rufus Clemmons of Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Youth Pastor Susan Chaney of Old Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and Youth Pastor Alan Henry of Pike Assembly of God.

Feel free to tag and share these photos and album. It is a honor to be able to cover events like this here in Pike County.

Thank you to all who participated both at the event and wherever you were if you were not able to attend!
