ZEBULON - On Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 9:00 am, about 60 people from the community gathered for the annual school prayer walk for Pike County. It began in front of the 9th Grade Academy building on Highway 19 in Zebulon with prayers from individual members of the community as well as from Chaplain Ben Maxedon prior to traveling to pray at various schools, fields, bus depot, and Board of Education building.
Prior to the event, Chaplain Maxedon told me that this is an important event for our students, teachers, staff, bus drivers, and school administration. Please join us as we walk and ride around the school campus and administration buildings praying for the well being of all that enter the campus for the coming school year.
"If you have children in the schools or not, your prayers are still needed," said Chaplain Ben Maxedon. "We look forward to seeing you at the Prayer Walk." Sponsored by: Prayer Power of Georgia and the Pike County Christian Ministerial Association.
