ZEBULON - On Saturday August 22, 2015, Prayer Power of Georgia, Inc. sponsored the Annual Prayer Walk for Pike County Schools. Nearly 50 people came out on this overcast Saturday morning to pray for our schools before the school year began.
Participants gathered in front of the Pre-K building on Highway 19 to pray as a group before riding and walking around the school campus and administration buildings. People of all ages moved from building to building and even prayed over the athletic fields and the bus barn.
Organizer Ben Maxedon prayed for the safety and protection of all who enter the campus in the upcoming year. He also prayed that all of the children attending would learn and excel.
