MEANSVILLE - At approximately 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning, PCFD personnel along with City of Meansville FD responded to reported structure fire at 2565 Pine Valley Road, Meansville. The homeowner was able to exit the structure safely.
According to Pike County Fire Department Public Information Officer Anita Neath, the structure was fully involved upon the arrival of fire department personnel so they immediately began a defensive attack on the fire.
Approximately 23,000 gallons of water were used to combat this fire. The home was a total loss.
Firefighters returned to service shortly before 2 p.m.
