ATLANTA - On September 22 before the Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies game at SunTrust Park, the Braves recognized Kevin Teate, Director of Pike County Parks & Recreation Authority, as well as others, as an Atlanta Braves Group Champion for bringing over 750 people to a single game.
"It is with great pleasure that I accept this award on behalf of the Pike County Parks & Recreation Authority, our staff, our youth baseball & softball teams and the Pike County community who supported Pike County Night on May 19 at SunTrust Park," said Director Teate. "We had a great contingent of people representing Pike County as 816 tickets were sold for Pike County Night."
Coaches and players participated in the pre-game parade of athletes around the field before enjoying the game. "We look forward to the next Pike County Night in 2018 at SunTrust Park," Teate said.
