National Day of Prayer to Be Held in Pike County on May 2

ZEBULON - Prayer Power of Georgia will sponsor the Pike County celebration of the annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Please join us for the service at noon on the Pike County Courthouse Square.

The National Day of Prayer is a patriotic and spiritual celebration of our great nation; a time to join together to honor those who have served in many different capacities and to ask blessings for those who are serving our community and nation as they are called.

We will offer words and prayers for our community, state, nation, world, and all that need salvation.

Feel free to bring your own lawn chair.

Those participating in the ceremony will be Chaplain Ben Maxedon of Prayer Power of Georgia who will open with prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Bryan Richardson of American Legion Pike Post 197. Pastor Arianna Eberle of Zebulon/Concord Methodist will speak and pray. The Governor's Proclamation will be read by Rep. Ken Pullin, District 131. Pastor Jacob Sparks from Concord Baptist Church will speak and pray. And closing words will be given by Chaplain Ben Maxedon of Prayer Power of Georgia.
