MGA HEADQUARTERS - For over 38 years, Mid Georgia Ambulance has dutifully served the people of Georgia communities across the state. As one of Georgia’s only CAAS Accredited organizations, it is our ongoing mission to do everything in our power to make our organization the very best it can be.
In order to continue this legacy, we have decided to change the name of our organization to a name that more accurately describes what we do. While the name Mid Georgia Ambulance made sense at the time of our founding in Macon in 1977, our footprint has expanded to reach communities as far south as the Georgia/Florida state line.
As a result, we have decided to change our name to something that truly describes who we are: an organization with the sole purpose of serving communities. It is for this reason that we have begun the process of changing our name to COMMUNITY AMBULANCE.
While we are aware that this change may take some getting used to, we are excited to begin this new chapter as an organization. We also want to make sure that everyone we encounter (our associates, our patients and our community) is aware that this change is the ONLY thing changing about our organization. We will continue to provide the same services and the same excellent pre-hospital care to each community we serve.
