Award Winning Author Laurel Blount to Teach a FREE Storycrafting Class at the J. Joel Edwards Public Library

ZEBULON - Award-winning local author Laurel Blount will teach a class on story writing at the J. Joel Edwards Public Library in Zebulon on Saturday, September 23 from 1-2 pm.

Blount, who writes in the inspirational romance genre, is the author of twelve novels, published by Berkley/Penguin Random House and Love Inspired/Harper Collins. She’s the recipient of both the American Christian Fiction Writers Carol Award and the Georgia Romance Writers Maggie Medallion for Excellence. Her latest novel, A Family to Foster, earned a spot on the Publishers Weekly bestseller list.

"Storycrafting: How to Write a Story Readers Will Love" examines the basics of plotting marketable fiction, focusing on the importance of story beats, character development, and emotional impact. This class is offered free of charge courtesy of the J. Joel Edwards Public Library.
