ZEBULON - The J. Joel Edwards library is pleased to announce increased internet service speeds available to library patrons. Broadband speeds were increased from 50 Mbps to 100 Mbps in July 2018 with funding provided by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
The J. Joel Edwards Public Library has 14 public-use computers, available during library hours, and Wi-Fi available 24 hours a day. Library patrons can use computers to search for jobs, do homework, keep in touch with friends and family, and much more. Computer access is free with a library card.
The library, which is part of the Flint River Regional Library System, was recently awarded a grant from the Georgia Public Library Service to advertise their improved internet service. Pike county residents can look for the advertising campaign postcards around town and online on the J. Joel Edwards Facebook page.
