GRIFFIN - Books-A-Million, Inc. / Bookland (Nasdaq/NM:BAMM) will be supporting local charities through a Book and Toy Drive that begins on Sunday, August 2. “The Pike County Library works to support literacy and reading among adults and children. We are excited about replenishing their library with donations through our holiday book drive,” said Wendy Sikes, General Manager of Bookland, North Griffin Square.
Throughout the month of August, customers can purchase a book that will be donated to the J. Joel Edwards Public Library in Zebulon, GA. They will also be able to include a personalized bookplate with their donation, allowing for gifts to be donated in someone’s honor or memory.
“Partnering with Books-A-Million in this venture will enable our small rural library to offer a wider variety of new popular titles as well as time-tested classics to our community,” said library manager Rosemary Bunn.
