GRIFFIN - Over 300 people attended “A Taste of Two Counties” on Saturday, January 17th, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Event Center (1025 S. Hill St.) in Griffin. The Night Train Swing Band performed with guest vocalist Karin Williams.
They enjoyed an evening of dining and dancing benefitting FROGSLIB (Friends of the Griffin-Spalding Library) and Friends of the Pike County Library. The music was provided by 17-piece big band “Night Train” with a free dance lesson that started out the evening. No partner was necessary.
Complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages were provided by local restaurants.
