What Will It Be, General Beauregard Lee?

JACKSON - General Beauregard Lee, Georgia’s Official Weather Prognosticator, will make his prediction from his home at Dauset Trails Nature Center, on Thursday, February 2, 2023. The ceremony, which starts at 7:30 a.m., is open to the public.  

Will winter continue to keep us in its mighty grasp, or is spring coming soon to set us free? Find out what Beau has to say this Groundhog Day on Thursday, February 2. The main gate will be open by 6:00 am. Beau will make his prediction around 7:30 am. Souvenir shirts will be sold. We look forward to seeing you at the Trails.  

Dauset Trails Nature Center is a private, non-profit nature center located near Jackson, Georgia. Dauset Trails provides outdoor educational experiences showcasing Georgia’s native wildlife, flora, early farm life, 30 miles of hiking and mountain bike riding trails, and a 5 mile horse riding trail on over 1800 beautiful, scenic acres.
