Supporting Our County Fire Department Through Donations and Portraits
By Editor Becky Watts

ZEBULON - The Pike Volunteer Emergency Services Booster Organization (PVESBO) is hosting a fundraiser to purchase needed items that may not be covered by the county budget for our volunteer fire department. This is a program that has been in place for the past several years. Starting this weekend, a representative of Excalibur Central, LLC will begin knocking on doors in the county on the behalf of the Pike County Fire Department to ask if residents would like to support the fire department with a $40 tax deductible donation and receive a coupon for a free family portrait.

The dates for the sitting times for family portraits are as follows: September 26 & 27 and October 10 & 11. All days are from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Zebulon Opportunity Center located behind Zebulon City Hall.

Donations of any size will be accepted for the fire department through PVESBO. Excalibur Central LLC representatives will even deliver 100% of donations to the fire department for those who did not want a portrait but would like to give a donation to help our fire department.

If you have any questions on this fundraiser or would like to donate and Excalibur Central LLC has not been to your house yet, please contact Teri Totten at 770-468-8633. Look for more information on this county fire department fundraiser on Pike County Times!
