The Pike County Firefighters Fundraiser was held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 on the Zebulon Square. The community came out to show support for our firefighters.
There was food, booths, and musical entertainment on one side of the courthouse, bounce houses and fun with balloons on another, and Jackson Street was closed off with a display of emergency equipment from our volunteer fire department and South Georgia Ambulance.
Organizer Scott Meyer advised that $1,800 was raised during this event. The money that was raised will help purchase needed equipment for the Pike County Fire Department.
Thanks to everyone who supported our firefighters by donating as you drove by the square and all who came out to support this event!
