Pike County Fire Department Gives Thanks for Donations

ZEBULON - Pike County Fire Department would like to spotlight those who have given to the community with their generous donations and contributions to the department.

In 2015, Corky Polnaszek’s husband, Pete, passed away. There was no AED available where they lived in Indiana. Corky has recently donated funds to purchase an AED to be placed on department apparatus to assure that our county is better covered. Michael Martin sponsored the first annual Fire in the Hole Golf Tournament benefiting the Pike County and Upson volunteer fire departments. Accepting proceeds pictured left to right, Chief Bobby Wilkerson, Auxiliary President Teri Totten, and Michael Martin.

Mid Georgia Fleet has been a faithful supporter of the department with monetary contributions through the National Fire Safety Council annual campaign, but this year topped it off by donating two vehicles to be used in department extrication training.
