Pike Deputies Interupt Burglary; Make Arrests in Williamson

WILLIAMSON - Pike County Sheriff's Deputies interrupted a burglary in progress yesterday at a business facility on Second District Road in Williamson. A Deputy patrolling the area located a Ford Ranger in the area stopped on the side of the road. Two other suspects were found walking in the edge of the woods in this area. When asked what they were doing in the area the suspects gave a suspicious story of "looking at deer and coyotes."

An Investigator responded to the scene and was able to verify from the owner of a nearby property that items located in the suspect's vehicle had come from his business' warehouse.

The investigation into the suspects' activities continues as they are believed to possibly be involved in several other thefts that have occurred during the last few weeks.

All three individuals were arrested and are currently in the Pike County Jail. One of the suspects, William Rumpf, 45 years of age, had Methamphetamine in his possession. The suspects were also found to have masks and gloves to conceal their identity.

The other two suspects arrested are Dustin Martin, 22 years of age, and Leslie Cuddeback, 40 years of age. All three reside in Spalding County.

Their charges include burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of methamphetamine.
