ZEBULON - Pike County Sheriff's Office Traffic Investigators responded to a fatality collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 18 near the Cedars Golf course at 3:01 p.m. A Sport utility vehicle driven by Pike County resident Jessica Norman crossed the centerline striking a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was deceased at the scene. The motorcyclist has been identified as Roger Roach, age 67, of Coweta County.
The investigation will continue as blood samples were taken and will be submitted to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab for toxicology analysis.
UPDATE 8.8.16 at 11:30 PM: Motorcyclist has been identified as Roger Roach, age 67, of Coweta County.
UPDATE 8.9.16 at 3 PM: The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Pike County resident Jessica Norman.
