MEANSVILLE - On Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 5:03 a.m., an alarm call was received from the Mountain View Store. When deputies arrived, they found a hole cut in the rear of the building that allowed the perpetrators to gain entrance to the store.
Major David Neal of the Pike County Sheriff's Office advised that the burglars disabled the surveillance cameras and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
This burlary is currently under investigation. Anyone with information can contact Pike County Sheriff's Office Investigators at 770-567-8431. Tips can be kept anonymous.
