FLASHBACK: 2017 Pike County Baccalaureate Service Was Held

WILLIAMSON - The 2017 Pike County Baccalaureate Service was held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 5 p.m. The message was brought to graduates by Shane Moore, Youth Pastor at Life Springs Church with Special Music by the Oak Hill Praise Team. This service was sponsored by Prayer Power of Georgia, Inc. and Oak Hill Baptist Church.

The community attended this Baccalaureate Service for all graduating Seniors from Pike County Georgia. This included Public School, Private School, and Home Schooled students.

The message was an encouraging one of finding passion, power, and purpose in their lives. A blessing was prayed over the graduates as they are preparing to go out into the world after high school, and they were reminded to remember that there is a God who loves them and has a purpose for their lives because without Him, we're nothing.

There was also a reminder for the long-term: "May it be said when the sun sets on your life that you made a difference."

Thank you to all who came out to be a part of the service as well as those who had a part in presenting this service to honor our graduates.
