Drug Arrest Made in Meansville

MEANSVILLE - The Pike County Sheriff's Office received information in reference to 22 year old Jeremy Wooten and his possible involvement in the sale or distribution of illegal narcotics from his residence. Sheriff's Office personnel conducted an investigation into the activity of Wooten which resulted in the issuance of a search warrant for his residence on Myrtle Lane on Friday, August 7.

Wooten had a large quantity of THC oil in various vape cartridges along with a quantity of marijuana that had been packaged for distribution.

Wooten was arrested charged with three felonies including possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute/possession of THC oil with the intent to distribute, and possession of illegal narcotics.

Pike County Times spoke with Major David Neal of the Pike County Sheriff's Office and was advised that Wooten has been released on bond at this time.
