ZEBULON - On August 16, 2017 PFC Trustin Brazer of the Zebulon Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Black in color 2013 Chevrolet Impala on Georgia Hwy 19 South.
PFC Brazer identified two individuals in the car, the first being Omar Corral from Clayton County and the second being Cesar Cervantes also from Clayton County. They were stopped for failing to maintain lane.
Upon stopping the car, PFC Brazer noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from insidethe car. Upon a probable cause search approximately 10 plus pounds of marijuana was located in a black trash bag inside the car.
Both subjects were arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
