LAMAR COUNTY - On January 31, 2019, Lamar County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Mr. Miguel Angel Sanchez Alvarez, age 22 of California.
After a K-9 alerted on the vehicle driven by Mr. Sanchez Alvarez, a search revealed 80 kilograms of Methamphetamine. Mr. Sanchez Alvarez was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Mr. Sanchez Alvarez is currently being held at the Lamar County Detention Center on this felony charge.
