WILLIAMSON - The Pike County Sheriff's Office arrested a Tennesee man on a federal warrant on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Information given to the Sheriff's Office advised that Robert Alston, 44 years of age from Jackson, Tennesee, was possibly in the Pike County area and wanted by authorities in Tennesee. The Sheriff's Office was advised that Alston had allegedly pointed a handgun at an ATF agent during a road rage incident in Tennessee.
Deputies observed Alston traveling through Pike County and conducted a felony traffic stop. Alston was taken into custody without incident.
The handgun found in the vehicle will be turned over to the ATF as it could possibly have been involved in a crime in Tennessee. Alston remains in the Pike County Jail awaiting extradition to Tennessee.
