ZEBULON - Pike County Times reached out to Dr. Michael Duncan, Superintendent of the Pike County School System, to ask if Critical Race Theory (CRT) been taught at Pike County Schools.

The answer was a quick.

Dr. Duncan replied, "No we don't teach it as it is not in the state standards nor do we support it as a means to evaluate the success of our school district."

This is pretty much the answer that was expected because Pike County Times had not been contacted by any parents or students, but the question needed to be asked out loud.
