BREAKING NEWS: Truck Driver LifeFlighted After Hitting Trash Truck

ZEBULON - According to Major David Neal of the Pike County Sheriff's Office, around 5:40 a.m. this morning, a pick up truck that was traveling northbound on Hwy 19 ran into the back of a trash truck that was also traveling northbound on Hwy 19. This accident happened in the vicinity of Sullivan Road and Hwy 19.

The driver of pick up, Benjamin Spillers of Thomaston, was life-flighted for treatment.

The cause of this accident is still under investigation.
