BREAKING NEWS: Driver Wrecks in Williamson; Lifeflighted to Atlanta Medical Center

WILLIAMSON - According to Major David Neal of the Pike County Sheriff's Office, Hunter Parrish, 23 years of age of Beville Rd in Griffin, was traveling toward Spalding on Hwy. 362 yesterday evening when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a telephone pole, and his vehicle overturned.

He was driving a Chrysler passenger car. He was life flighted to Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta.

Charges of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Possession of Marijuana and Drug-Related objects are pending.
