ZEBULON - An early morning wreck involving an eighteen wheeler on Highway 18 at County Farm Road blocked the road for several hours this morning. A commercial vehicle driven by James Douglas, Hamilton, GA, ran off of the roadway and overturned after he apparently fell asleep.
The truck was also occupied by two children and his wife. All four were transported by ambulance to Grady Hospital for treatment.
The trailer had to be unloaded due to the weight shifting and was transported from the scene by another truck. Charges are pending in this case as the Traffic Investigators conclude their inquiry into this wreck.
