BREAKING NEWS: Log Truck Wrecks in Molena
By Editor Becky Watts

MOLENA - A log truck wrecked and rolled on its side in Molena this afternoon. Ricky Lovejoy (age 49 from Greenville) was traveling eastbound on Hwy 18 in Molena with a load of logs when his truck ran off of the road. This caused the truck to overturn. Mr. Lovejoy was deceased at the scene of the accident.

The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is investigating. (Next of kin has been notified.)

Update 2.22.18:

The initial investigation has shown that the truck left the roadway for an unknown reason and then turned over after striking a ditch. [End of update.]
