WILLIAMSON - On Thursday, June 27, 2019 at approximately 6:12 p.m. a single engine aircraft crashed into a wooded area off of Lufbery Court in Eagles Landing in Williamson.
The Pike County Fire Department advised that the pilot was transported by air ambulance to Grady. The name of the pilot has not been officially released at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Pike County Times is following up with the NTSB on this investigation since this is all of the information that can be obtained at this time.
