BREAKING NEWS: Pike County Grand Jury March Term Is Held

ZEBULON - These are the results of the Pike County Grand Jury, March Term, conducted on March 10, 2021. Judge Scott Ballard was the presiding judge.

True bills are as follows:

1) Javier Chaves-Guerrero for child molestation, aggravated identify fraud, and a special presentment for child molestation.
2) William Christopher Kirkley for arson in the 2nd degree and two counts of theft by taking.
3) Chasity Nan Perry for lottery ticket fraud, forgery in the 1st degree, and theft by deception.
4) Nicholas Lynn Truitt for criminal attempt to commit a felony.
5) Howatdrick Jamal Jones for armed robbery.
6) Basil Scott Brown for possession of a Schedule II Controlled substance (oxycodone), possession of methamphetamine, possession of a drug related object, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
7) Steven Ellis Davison for two counts of terroristic threats.

No bills are as follows:

1) Carlene Lucretica McDowell for aggravated assault
2) Timothy Lee Watkins, II for criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree
3) Michael Paul Bonacci for simple battery family violence, criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree, and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.

The true bills are scheduled for arraignment on March 30, 2021 at 9:00am with Judge Ballard presiding.
