REGULAR BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MONTHLY MEETING - POSTPONED
Tuesday, April 30, 2024 – 6:30 p.m.
Courthouse, Main Courtroom, 16001 Barnesville Street, Zebulon, Georgia
Courthouse Doors on East/South Sides open at 6:00 p.m.
Town Hall Meeting at 6:15 p.m.

ZEBULON - The Pike County Board of Commissioners will meet in the upper courtroom of the courthouse on Tuesday, April 30, 3024 at 6:30 p.m. for a regularly scheduled meeting. There will be a Town Hall Meeting at 6:15 p.m. for anyone who would like to speak to the commissioners about any issues that you may have. The meeting is open to the public will be broadcast live on Pike County Times' Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/pikecountytimes/.

c. Approve/deny purchase and installation of kitchen hood ventilation system for the Senior Center.

d. Consideration of appointment to Griffin-Spalding County Area Regional Airport Authority.

e. Discussion of Dunn Road.

f. Discussion of 2nd District Road.

g. Discussion of the FY 2024-2025 Budget.

10. PUBLIC COMMENT (Limited to 5 minutes per person)

a. Marvin J Killingsworth to address the Board regarding taxes.

b. David Penland to address the Board regarding county roads.

c. Becky Watts to address the Board requesting an investigation into the improper/possible illegal destruction of public documents.

11. EXECUTIVE SESSION

County Attorney Rob Morton request Executive Session for consultation with the county attorney, or other legal counsel, to discuss pending or potential litigation, settlement, claims, administrative proceedings, or other judicial actions brought or to be brought by or against the county or any officer or employee or in which the county or any officer or employee may be directly involved as provided in O.C.G.A. § 50-14-2(1), germane to pending or potential litigation.
