a. Approve/deny the Second Reading of the Pike County Code of Ordinances to add Chapter 116 Hotel/Motel Excise Tax Ordinance.

9. NEW BUSINESS

a. Consider one appointment to the Pike County Joint Board of Elections and Registration to fill an unexpired four-year term, set to expire December 31, 2024. Applicant has met criteria.

b. Approve/deny the Nelson Memorial Fund project for Pike County Fire Station #8.

c. Approve/deny the acceptance of the FY 2020 Delinquency Prevention Grant.

d. Approve/deny SUB-21-03 – Jerry R. Woods Estate, Barry Woods – Executor, owner and Steve Reeves, applicant are requesting a 6-lot major subdivision with an interior private road. Property Location: 1576 Old Zebulon Road, Zebulon, GA 30295. Land Lots: 21 & 22 of the 9th Land District. Parcel ID: 056-009. Acreage: 55.44 acres. Commission District: 1st Tim Daniel. FEMA Data: Approximately 5 acres of the northwestern edge of the property lies within the 100-year flood zone.

e. PUBLIC HEARING: To receive public input regarding SE 21-02 – Applicant/owner, Sheryl E. Westbrook is requesting permission via special exception to create a private family cemetery on her property. Property Location: 1348 & 1346 Hagans Mountain Road, Meansville GA. 30256 Land Lot: 31 of the 9th Land District. Parcel ID: 061-041 H & 061-041 G. Acreage: 20 acres. Commission District: 2nd Tim Guy. FEMA Data: Does not lie within the flood zone.
