9. NEW BUSINESS

a. Consider request from Montgomery Lodge #3 to use the courthouse grounds to have a BBQ fund raiser on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

b. Consider one appointment to the J. Joel Edwards Library Board to fill a three-year term, set to expire August 31, 2017. Applicants have met criteria.

c. Consider two appointments to the Industrial Development Authority to fill a four-year term, set to expire October 31, 2021. Applicants have met criteria.

d. PUBLIC HEARING: To receive public input regarding MOD-17-04 – John R. and Rosalyn B. Boren, property owners and applicants, are requesting a modification of approval conditions, relative to Special Exception Case Number SE-15-12. The property, located at 4690 Concord Road (Shadow Rock Arena), has approximately 500 feet of frontage along the eastern side of Concord Road. The property is located in Land Lot 203 of the 1st District of Pike County, Georgia. The property consists of 107.51 acres and is further identified as Tax Map Parcel #026 029B.

e. PUBLIC HEARING: To receive public input regarding SUB-17-02 - Vivian Pollard Estate and Sandra Jane Pollard Estate, current property owners, and Clay Robertson, applicant, are requesting final plat approval for a new 9 lot subdivision (previously 10 lots) on 34.03 acres on Drew Allen Road and Twin Oaks Road. The parent tracts are zoned A-R (Agricultural-Residential), with approximately 1610 feet of total frontage along the southern side of Drew Allen Road and approximately 1239 feet of frontage along the eastern side of Twin Oaks Road. The properties are located in Land Lot 255 of the 1st Land District of Pike County, Georgia. The parent tracts are further identified as Tax Map Parcel Numbers 053 028 and 053 028A respectively.

f. PUBLIC HEARING: To receive public input regarding SUB-17-04 - Marjorie B. Harrison, property owner, and Rod Wright of RodWrightCorp, applicant, are requesting simultaneous preliminary and final plat approval for a new 12 lot subdivision on 26.8 acres on Bottoms Road and Williams Road. The parent tract is zoned A-R (Agricultural-Residential) with approximately 1180 feet of frontage along the northeastern side of Bottoms Road and approximately 614 feet of frontage along the western side of Williams Road. The property is located in Land Lots 83 and 110 of the 9th District of Pike County, Georgia. The subject property consists of 26.8 acres and is further identified as Tax Map Parcel #042 027.

g. Approve/deny the Adoption Resolution for the 2017 Pike County Comprehensive Plan.

h. Discuss/Approve/Deny Impact Fee waiver of addition to K & K Manufacturing building at 70 Pike Industrial Way.

i. Discuss/Approve/Deny of Impact Fee waiver for proposed accessory building at Mount Olive Church, 1177 Ga. Hwy. 109.
