REGULAR BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MONTHLY MEETING

Courthouse, Main Courtroom, 16001 Barnesville Street, Zebulon, Georgia

Monthly information from Animal Control, Coroner, Fire Department, Grady, Library, Magistrate Court, McIntosh Trail CSB, Planning & Development, Registrar, Superior - Juvenile Court, Tax Assessor, and the Water Authority are included as well during the morning meeting only.

We encourage that attendees follow recommended Covid-19 guidelines which include staying home if you are ill/not feeling well, washing your hands, maintaining social distancing, and wearing a face covering (recommended but not required)

The Pike County Board of Commissioners held a Special Called Meeting on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in the Courthouse, Main Courtroom, at 16001 Barnesville Street, Zebulon. Chairman Briar Johnson convened the meeting and Commissioners Tim Daniel, Tim Guy, Jason Proctor and James Jenkins attended. County Manager Brandon Rogers and County Attorney Rob were also present. (O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1(e) (2)) Due to unforeseen circumstances County Clerk Angela Blount was unavailable to attend the meeting.

1. CALL TO ORDER - Chairman Briar Johnson

2. INVOCATION - Silent Invocation

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Chairman Briar Johnson

4. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA - (O.C.G A. 50-14-1 (e) (1))

Motion/second by Commissioners Daniel/Guy to approve the agenda, motion carried 5-0.

5. NEW BUSINESS

a. Consider Resolution to adopt Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Pike County Tax Levy.

Commissioner Daniel asked what the mill rate was for last year, 2019-2020. County Manager Brandon Rogers replied 14.262 for the County and 18.665 for the School. Motion/second by Commissioners Daniel/Proctor to approve the FY 2020-2021 Pike County Tax Levy and to approve the Chairman to sign the resolution, motion carried 5-0. b. Consider authorization for the Chairman to sign the Resolution to adopt the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Pike County Tax Levy.

Included in the above motion.

6. ADJOURNMENT

Motion/second by Commissioners Proctor/Guy to adjourn at 9:03 a.m., motion carried 5-0.
