New Director for the Office of Dispute Resolution

ATLANTA - The Georgia Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution has named Tracy Johnson as the Executive Director for the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Ms. Johnson is well-known in the Alternative Dispute Resolution community as she is a registered mediator and previously served for 17 years as the Director for the 6th District ADR Program. Since December 2013, Ms. Johnson has served as Director of the Fulton County Superior Court Family Division.

Ms. Johnson has a Master of Science in Judicial Administration from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Mercer University. She also has attained a Master Certificate in Court Administration from the Georgia Council of Court Administrators (GCCA). Ms. Johnson currently serves as the Vice-President of the GCCA.

“The Commission is very excited about Tracy Johnson. In addition to her excellent credentials, she has proven herself through her prior accomplishments and shown her ability to succeed in a number of settings. She successfully managed and expanded a local program which covered eight counties and multiple courts,” Commission Chair Judge Charles Auslander said.

“She led the Fulton County Family Division Task Force which reviewed and developed recommendations to revise processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. We feel very fortunate to have found a director with her prior experience in judicial administration and ADR.”
