ZEBULON - It has been another great 8u basketball season in Pike County. "The age group has grown to 10 teams in this division alone, and interest in basketball in the county as whole is continuing to grow," said Kevin Hawkins.

This season ended with a competitive playoffs, and these 10 players stood out and had great a great season. "They worked hard, competed and should be extremely proud of their performance," Hawkins said.

They will be competing against all the surrounding counties’ All Star Teams in a tournament too.

The Future looks Bright for Pike County basketball with kids like this working hard and being given the stage to shine. Hoping to see the school basketball programs connect to the youth showing so much interest in order to see it translate to future success at the Middle School and High school basketball programs.
